Affiliate Disclosure

Effective date: 7 October 2026

Even Format is free to read, carries no advertising and sells nothing. It is paid for by affiliate commission, and this page sets out exactly how that works, because a reader who does not know how a site earns cannot judge what it says.

The arrangement, in one paragraph

Some pages of this course link to the website of Enlisted, a large online war game. Those links are paid affiliate links. If you follow one and register an account, the affiliate network that operates the link records the referral and pays LOKGROUP s.r.o. a commission for it. You pay nothing additional: the commission comes out of the vendor's marketing budget, and the terms you are offered are the same terms you would be offered if you typed the vendor's address into your browser yourself.

Where the links appear

There is at most one affiliate link on any page, and it always sits in a section headed What the vendor of Enlisted states, near the end of the page. You will find one on the homepage and one in each of the five steps. Every one of them carries a line of text beside it saying that it is a paid affiliate link. There are none in the checklists, none on the About, Contact or legal pages, and none hidden inside ordinary text.

The links point directly at the destination, open in a new tab, and are marked up so that search engines treat them as sponsored. We do not route them through a redirect of our own, do not change where they point depending on who is reading, and do not disguise the destination; you can hover over a link and see where it goes before you click.

What the commission does not decide

The commission does not decide what this course says. The five steps, their order and their checklists were written as a general guide to the category and would read the same with every link stripped out — which is a test we apply when reviewing the pages.

No section exists in order to carry a link. Nothing here tells you that you should register for anything, and the course states plainly that you can read all five steps and install nothing at all. Where the vendor's material does not state something — what the game costs, what its shop sells, what hardware it needs — we say that it does not, rather than guessing in a helpful direction.

What the commission does decide

It decides which product is named. Enlisted appears in this course because LOKGROUP s.r.o. has a commercial arrangement covering it, not because it won a comparison. There was no comparison: this site does not test games, does not score them and does not rank them.

That is the honest answer, and it is why the course is written so that the product is only ever an example of a pattern — a registration that uses email confirmation — rather than the subject. The editorial method on our About page describes how the steps were structured and what each one relies on.

What we do and do not receive

We receive commission reports from the affiliate network, which say how many registrations were credited and what is owed. We use them for one purpose, reconciling payments, and we do not seek information that identifies individual readers. What happens on the vendor's site after you arrive is governed by the vendor's own policies and the network's, as the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy explain.

Trademarks

All brand names on Even Format, Enlisted among them, are the property of their owners. Except for the paid affiliate links described on our funding page, none of those owners is affiliated with Even Format, and none has endorsed or sponsored it.

The link itself

Visit the Enlisted website — opens in a new tab.

Paid affiliate link: LOKGROUP s.r.o. earns a commission if you register an account through it, at no extra cost to you.
